Side walk Break | Leading and following syncopations
Musicality is fun when you understand what you are wanting to emphasize as a leader or follower. Syncopations are difficult to lead and follow, but we wanted to show you this sequence that can actually be lead and followed on the social dance floor. I call it a “Side walk break.”
The biggest challenge is understanding how to lead and follow syncopations without undermining the sharing of energy between you and your partner. This is the essence of what makes a dancer more successful than another. We share are approach to leading and following syncopations without destroying ones technique below. The class is called – you guessed it – “Leading and Following Syncopations.”
