Creativity and Style
Lindy Hop swing can become boring once you focus too much on mastering the technique. After a while your movements will become too homogeneous creating a rigged adherence to getting “it” perfect. The beauty of lindy hop is style. Without individual style swing dancing loses it’s spirit of creativity which is the fulcrum of American dance. Try taking more risk in your dancing and see what happens creatively.
